Averse to hard truths, the party's leadership apparatus operates more like a communications shop rather than a political organization focused on building local power capable of prevailing at the polls.

A Culture That Avoids Dissent

Making public an official autopsy could have demonstrated that the leadership actually want to promote public discourse regarding the errors that paved the way for the former president to win re-election. Instead, the DNC is proceeding as if there are no lessons to understand from the electoral catastrophe of 2024.
