The Brazilian star Issues Apology to Los Blancos Supporters
Vinicius Jr has registered five goals in ten domestic competition matches so far this term.
The Madrid giants winger Vinicius Jr has apologised to supporters for his response when replaced in Sunday's heated El Clasico triumph.
The Brazilian was taken off in the second half and displayed his annoyance by heading directly down the tunnel.
He eventually reappeared to the bench and, after his side's 2-1 victory, sought to engage the opposition's opposing player during unsavoury post-match scenes.
"Now I want to apologise to all the Real Madrid fans for my behavior when I was replaced in the Clasico," the player shared on social media.
"Just as I have already done during this morning's practice, I wish to say sorry once more to my teammates, the organization, and the club president.
"At times emotion takes over me because I continuously aim to triumph and assist my side. My determined nature stems from the affection I feel for this team and everything it symbolizes."
He signed for Madrid from Flamengo in the year 2018 for a significant fee and has accumulated triple figures in numerous matches.
But his prospects in the La Liga is unclear with speculation in the past few months suggesting that the club would think about letting the 25-year-old move on if they obtained a appropriate bid.
When Vinicius was substituted on that day, cameras from network Dazn recorded him saying: "It's always me! I'm leaving the team! It's wiser if I depart, I'm leaving."
In his most recent post on the platform, Vinicius stated: "I vow to keep battling every second for the benefit of Real Madrid, as I have performed since the first day."
