Representative a civil defense spokesman announced that two dozen Palestinians died in the most recent one-day period, with bombardment not stopping.
He further stated, "Not a single aid convoy have been allowed into the city since the offensive began one month ago."
"Victims' bodies remain we cannot retrieve from Israeli-held territories," he said.
Specific Reports of Overnight Strikes
Residents report that from 21:30 local time on Sunday until early morning, shelling and bombing targeted multiple areas of the urban center.
- Bombardment focused on the southwest sectors industrial area, and college neighborhood, then came sustained attacks in Tel al-Hawa.
- Afterwards, bombing runs targeted the al-Tuffah area and the government security building.
- In the early hours, warplanes attacked that area, a refugee camp, and al-Jalaa, while artillery focused on the street near that intersection and the medical facility.
Populated Districts Targeted
Observers reported ordnance dropped over neighborhoods in al-Nafaq and al-Jalaa Street.
The spokesman reported that Tel al-Hawa, al-Jalaa, and the street were among the most intensely attacked districts during the night.
